The road we have taken to get to this point is one that has developed from the usual family pets to the world of showing .
My first dog was a field spaniel "cherry" and like all young girl`s she knew all my secrects "she would have got me into trouble if she could talk ". Phils first family dog was a border collie "lassie"but his first dog was a boxer "Ben" this was a remarkable partnership ,they were inseparable it was something i had never seen before or will again .
When we got married it was a german shepherd dog that we went for and this was to start us off showing our dogs , we found out that "misty" went back on a famous g.s.d kennel`s blood lines, and we went from doing obdience training to showing our dogs, we had a couple of gsd`s,and made many good friends but in the end we decided that this was not the breed for us .
At round about this time we acquired our affix of Seiunchin (which is pronounced Say -Un - Shin) and is a karate kata and comes from my husbands and sons interest in martial arts. One meaning of Seiunchin is Walk Far To Conquer.
After a short time we met a friend who had a miniature schnauzer and i fell in love with them, we did our homework and we got Gyspy and for our family she is the perfect dog .
A year on we all decided we would like another schnauzer but this time it was to be a giant. And Kimba arrived with a bang in more ways than one. Her show career took me and her from strength to strength and made me realise how much i had missed showing my dogs.
But it is with Gypsy that we hope to have more success. We have been given an outstanding opportunity to build a solid bloodline into our kennel, and this is in part to Liz Longdin of Wellingley kennel for letting us use one of her boys.
Over the years we have made many good friends , we have learnt alot , and at times learnt from the best. For this we would like to offer our thanks , some have shown , owned and bred Champions , but they have always produced a high standard of dog wheather it be for show or companionship. This is what we want and hope our kennel will be built upon.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
AFTER CRUFTS 2010 WE WILL NOT BE SHOWING OR BREEDING,BUT IF YOU NEED ANY INFO OR HELP WITH MINIS PLEASE DO E-MAIL US AND WE WILL TRY AND HELP
